Sam Sam and Marzipan is an imaginative adventure story as seen through the eyes of a four year old boy. The cubby-house is the first book and adventure where Sam and his cubby-house friends that come to life set off on a magical adventure.
A Great Children’s Book
As a grandfather I found this story a lot of fun. My grand daughter sat wide eyed while I read the story and was taken in by the great illustrations.
We are looking forward to the next imaginative book in this children’s series.

Sam Sam and Marzipan – ‘The Train that saves Christmas’
Sam and his friends receive a visit from Jingle, Santa Claus’ elf who tells them that a train with all of the children’s letters to Santa has been left behind at the station. Jingle wants Sam and his friends to help save Christmas. The group hook up the little train and fly to the North Pole where they deliver the children’s letters to Santa.
Sam Sam and Marzipan and friends travel to The Beach where they help Homer a Labrador find his way home. As they walk along the beach a Pelican, Crab, Turtle and a cheeky Seagull help the group and Homer to find his way home.
Sam Sam and Marzipan and friends travel to The Jungle where they find a lost baby monkey. With the help of a number of animals they meet along the way they wander through the jungle until they finally meet the baby monkey’s Mum.
Sam Sam and Marzipan and friends travel in space to Upsie Down Land, a planet where almost everything is upside down. They meet a strange little man called Hoot who shows them his upside down home and other upside down things on his planet.
In Sam Sam and Marzipan – The Secret Garden, Sam Sam and friends explore a secret garden full of plants, caterpillars, butterflies and more. BUT… the group shrink in size and everything around them is BIG! Tock (the clock) stumbles into a spider web and needs to be saved.
Sam Sam and Marzipan – The Treasure Chest. Sam is SURE that there is a treasure chest to be found at the bottom of the ocean. With the help of a friendly dolphin, sea horse and clown fish the group is guided to a ship wreck where they find a treasure chest. The treasure chest is guarded by an octopus but Sam and his friends get past only to find that the treasure is not quite what they expected. Superbly illustrated.
